Lucas Hickman Smith has continued its run of success in South Norfolk Council’s annual design awards. The winning scheme, Old Guild Yard, is a striking and contemporary new-build home on a sensitive site in Wymondham’s Town Centre Conservation Area. The judging panel ‘were particularly impressed with the positive design response to a challenging site with a number of issues requiring careful consideration including scale and height, character of the street and key views of Wymondham Abbey’.

The Award was presented to Terry Hickman Smith who designed the scheme, and the building’s owners in a ceremony at the Forum in Norwich as part of the Festival of Architecture in Norwich & Norfolk 2013 (FANN13). Read more about the project here.
