L+WA has secured these two Planning Permissions over the past two days

A replacement dwelling at Wicklewood, near Wymondham. The proposed 2-storey house continues our exploration of rural and agricultural forms for new houses in the Norfolk countryside. The building will largely be faced with black profiled cladding. The existing bungalow will mostly be retained, re-clad and converted into the garage block.

A glass garden room extension at a Grade II Listed farmhouse near Hingham. The addition will help to connect the house and remodelled living area to the terrific and unique setting. Contemporary additions to old buildings continue to be a key aspect of L+WA’s work.

Keys to Thompson Community Hall have been handed over. This project represents the culmination of a community led process. The building will be a focal point for the village, providing much needed facilities in a striking contemporary design that is appropriate to its time and place. Sited on the Millennium Green it makes the most of the location, embracing the view and reinforcing links with the surrounding landscape.
