Our Matt has been hard at work this year (alongside his day-job!) leading the team behind FANN13, the third biennial Festival of Architecture in Norwich and Norfolk. The Festival, organised by the Norfolk Association of Architects, first took place in 2009 after the demise of national Architecture Week and has gone from strength to strength since then.

FANN13 aims to celebrate contemporary architecture in Norfolk and showcase the work of its architectural practices. The main Festival exhibition runs at the Forum from 10-17 and 20-23 October (inclusive), anchoring a varied programme of events aimed mainly at a general audience – talks, films, kids’ workshops, a ‘Pecha Kucha Night’, architecture-related art and photographic exhibitions. The Festival will be brought to an close at UEA on November 7th with the 2013 Norwich Lecture to be given by world-renowned Portuguese architect, RIBA Gold Medal and Pritzker Prize winner Alvaro Siza.
